Podcasts

I really enjoyed this activity, even though I was apprehensive as I thought I wasn't familiar with podcasts, but came to realize I was.  I poked around the listed websites including Podcast Directory and podcast.com, but then I moved over to my i-Tunes to see what was there.  I can't believe I didn't realize this whole world of podcasts through my i-Tunes until.  If I had more time I would probably search and watch/listen to the abundance of different things available.  While I saw some podcasts related to libraries on the other sites, such as a podcast that was librarians reading stories, I didn't search for library specifics in the i-Tunes, as I stumbled upon TED talks, and could literally spend hours watching these if I had the time.  Since I don't, I just watched the first video listed, which actually is about learning as she states at the beginning; however, it focuses on the study of what we learn before we're born.  I've actually read about these studies in the past, so the video was really interesting to me.  Overall, the choices really seem endless, and I will definitely be using podcasts more in the future.
